Civilization Revolution for PS3 Problems with Game of the week
Iv played Civilization Revolution about a dozen times and i have found some problems. First of all you cannot save the game, this means you have to play it until the game ends which could be 3 to 5 hours depending on length of game. Problem one happens when i have trouble with my internet and the game will emidiately end. This sucks when iv invested 4 hours into the game and then it just stops. The second problem is this, im randoming playing the game of the week and it just freezes. I dont know why and i dont know how, it just does this. I am so pissed of right now i think i will just sell this game on ebay.
For this problem…… this game deserves a big “ Nooo Panoch”

Cheryl Ordaz the worst Professor at UTEP
Cheryl Ordaz the worst Professor at UTEP
I showed up for my first CJ class of the year and it seemed as if it would be business as usual, until the professor arrived. I quickly noticed that she was very young and as she gave her introduction it became very evident that she was a brand new teacher. The first day of class she started with a scantron test on basic criminal justice questions. After the test she passed out an information sheet asking for everyone’s personal email address. After turning in our info sheets she then began a lecture on chapter one. The day after the first day of class everyone was sent an email with notes from the first day. At this point nothing seemed unusual. At the start of the second day is where things got dicey, to start the class off she gave a surprise quizz based off the emailed notes she sent out. She instructed the class to get a sheet of paper out and she wanted hand written definitions off specific terms in the email. After this extremely unusual college quiz she then began reading from the book. Her lecture was extremely dry and she simply read from the book. When questions were asked of her, she gave one word answers and seemed to have no knowledge of what she was teaching. On the third day of class she had a emotional meltdown. She was upset that some students did not have the required text book. She told one student to not ask unintelligent questions in class and at the conclusion of class she started crying.
Here are some of the emails that she sent out to class members within the first week of class.
This email was sent out after the second day of class.
Hi Everyone,
I went to the bookstore to check on status of the book and the required book has been there for awhile so there is no reason why no one should not have their book. With that being said I expect everyone to have their books on Wednesday. Those of you that are getting your book from another location or mailed to you, should have done so in a timely fashion since you all were aware of the book we would be using last week.
As far as readings please read up to chapter 4
If you have any questions please email me…
Prof. Ordaz
This email was sent out after the third day of class after her mental break down.
Hello Everyone,
I would like to remind everyone that you are registered in an upper-division class that requires that all chapters in the book be read and that you, as a student, engage in the reading assignments which involve critical thinking on your part. My administrators have advised me that my teaching methods are acceptable and class will continue as follows.
Quizzes will not be modified and there will be no guidelines as to how I will present the quiz. The quizzes are comprehensive. Again, please keep up with your reading assignments. I will BE OUTLINING THE CHAPTERS FOR YOU IN CLASS, HOWEVER that does not mean that only the material discussed in class will be on a quiz. You are required to read all chapters. Also, if you are uncomfortable asking questions in class, email me your questions (in a timely fashion) and I will be more than glad to address them at the beginning of class.
I will no longer have office hours available nor will I be available after class to meet. If you have any problems/questions/concerns please email me in a timely fashion and I will respond back to you in the same manner.
As always, if the material in class is confusing to you please do not hesitate to ask me in class. As mentioned above we will be engaging in critical thinking when reviewing the chapters and will be participating, together as a class in order to meet our objective for the class. We can work together as a team.
Thank You,
Prof. Ordaz
What is frustrating about this whole experience is that she should not be a professor at the University of Texas at El Paso. It is obvious that she has no experience teaching and she should have another member of the faulty observing the class. She is rude to the students and she is not being realistic in her expectations of the students.
